A Full Payment or 50% deposit is required to reserve a bunny or chinchilla. All payments are NON REFUNDABLE unless boutique products were damaged or veterinary documentation is received.
All sales are final & will include a 3.2% transaction fee.
MBB offers a lifetime support guarantee.
Holland Lops: Average price range between $365-$600 depending on specialty colors, overall quality, & breeding rights.
English Lops: Average price range between $365-$550 depending on specialty colors, overall quality, & breeding rights.
Mini Plush Lops: Average price range between $400-$800 depending on specialty colors, overall quality, & breeding rights.
Chinchillas: Average price range between $500-$4,000 depending on specialty colors, standard/RPA, show qualities, & breeding rights.
Certificates of Veterinary Inspection
MBB offers health certificates regarding transportation & overall health examinations. This is a required document in order to cross state boarders with ALL animals. This is a requirement in order to transport your furry companion(s) through different states via airlines or USDA pet transports.
Interstate health certificates cost $125. Our rabbit & exotic savvy veterinarian will exam the bunny/chin(s) a couple days prior to pickup. Health certificates are only valid for 30 days.
Pet Only Policy
Bunnies that are purchased without pedigree and breeding rights must not be used for breeding purposes. Spaying and neutering is highly recommended but not a requirement. Legal action will be enforced if failed to follow our pet-only contract.
Breeding Rights Policy
Bunnies & chins that are purchased with pedigree and breeding rights has MBB's permission to use in a breeding program. Backyard breeders will not be tolerated.
All of our babies have been handled everyday since birth to ensure that they are super friendly and cuddly when they get to their forever home. Our buns & chins are raised both indoors and outdoors and have plenty of space to run throughout the day. They are raised with much noise including sirens, dog barking, cars, children, construction, etc. We also have two large dogs which also aids in personality development.
All of our buns are on a 80% timothy hay, 10% quality pellets (no corn, no soy, no additives), & 10% fresh greens.
All of our bunnies & chins are housed in a climate controlled barn. This allows us to produce litters all year round. We do not breed our does more than 2-3 times per year.
ALL of the bunnies will receive their first vaccination for pasteurella/snuffles, dewormed, treated for mites, and treated for Coccidia- All as preventatives. They also receive probiotics and extra supplements daily.
We have the RIGHT to decide if we chose to not sell a bunny/chinchilla. We are very picky to where our fur balls go. We may ask many questions regarding why you want to add furry new addition, and what environment you may keep him/her in. If you have purchased a bunny/chinchilla and we decide later to hold that baby for our program, we will offer you a full refund of your deposit. If we decide that your family is not the right fit for a bunny/chinchilla, we have the right to not grant you permission to own one of our fur babies. This is a very rare occasion, as most of our buyers have serious inquiries and offer a loving home. However, keep in mind that things do happen such as one of our boys falls ill or one of our girls stops producing. We will decide if we need to hold back one of the babies as a replacement.
The babies will be posted on the Available Bunnies page at 10am CST on their given reservation date. You may find more information on reservation dates on the Nestbox Babies page. The babies will be 5-6 weeks old when they are posted to purchase. This is so we can ensure overall health, quality, & genders. MBB cannot guarantee correct genders. We expect all buyers to look over their bunny upon pickup. Once the baby leaves our care, we are not liable for misgendering.
We will have pictures of the bunnies available with a name, color, breed, gender, parents, date of birth, pet price, pedigree price, and leaving date of each one. The bunny's total price or a 50% deposit must be paid in order to reserve a bunny. Each bunny listed will have a 3.2% transaction fee already added to the total price upon checkout.
Pedigree paperwork & breeding rights is an additional cost. There will be an option to add this within most individual listings.
All bunnies must be paid in full before they leave our care. All bunnies listed display their full adoption prices. However, we are happy to work with our adopters on the reservation process. If you prefer to reserve a bunny of choice with a 50% deposit, please contact us directly. We also accept Zelle, Venmo, Cash, or can send a payment link via email. The remaining balance would be due upon pickup. Once we receive the payment we will send you a confirmation email. We are not responsible if our emails are sent to your junk/spam folder. We recommend adding our email to your contacts. The bunny will then be marked as "Out of Stock" on our website and will no longer be available for other inquires. We will keep you updated with additional photos and videos until pickup.
After the payment is placed, THERE IS NO SWITCHING OR CHANGING TO A DIFFERENT BUNNY. So make sure that you are in love with the bunny you pick!
We try to take additional photos and videos of the babies to send to their families. Please be patient as we have several families to please at once. We try to take the best quality pictures and all angles to share with their new family so you have an idea of how he/she looks as well as personality. You WILL get updates/pictures/videos at least once a week.
**Keep in mind that MBB is a CLOSED Rabbitry. Meaning that we do NOT allow visitors to see our bunnies/chinchillas. This is for the safety of our animals as well as family. Especially with Covid and the RHDV2 rabbit virus going around at this time. We will not allow visitors to see our bunnies until they are ready to leave at 8-10 weeks.**

All babies will be ready to go when they are 8-10 weeks. Pet owners will receive a bunny/chinchilla bundle including transfer feed, supplements, a fleece blanket, birth certificate, & a digital copy of our basic bunny/chinchilla care guide. Breeders will receive feed & pedigree paperwork only.
We will discuss with the buyer of a time and place to meet to pick up their new bunny/chinchilla. You must bring your own carrier. If failed to bring a carrier, we will supply one.
We encourage everyone to inspect their new baby before taking it home. Make sure you are happy with your bunny/chin as well as inspecting for any problems or misgenders. We will not sell a sick or injured bun/chin! We cannot guarantee genders, as they are commonly mixed up and hard to tell as a young age. MBB is not liable for misgendering once the bunny/chinchilla leaves our care.
Buyers are expected to pick up their baby within 7 days of the wean/go home date. Bunny wean dates are posted next to the individual listings or on the Nestbox Babies page. Chinchilla wean dates are posted next to the individual listings on the Available Chinchillas page. If the baby is not picked up within 7 days, we will charge an extra boarding fee of $5 per day. We do not have the extra space with more litters coming in so you are responsible to pickup your bunny/chin on time.
If the buyer fails to pick up the bunny/chin on the agreed time with lack of communication, your deposit will be forfeited and the bunny/chinchilla will become available again for the general public.
We can also meet families from out of town. Keep in mind that this will be an additional transportation fee- $25 with .55 cents each additional mile to and from zip code 77845.
We are only able to deliver/meetup within 2 hours of Boerne Texas, 78006.
Pet Transport Services:
**MBB's health guarantee will apply if using a 3rd party transportation service. If a bunny/chinchilla falls ill or passes away on transport, we are happy to offer a replacement. Our 7 day health guarantee will apply to your new baby once you receive them.**
All babies must be 10 weeks in order for them to hop on transport or flight.
It is up to you, the buyer, to set up a flight accompanied by a flight nanny or a transport that runs within 35 miles of Boerne Texas, 78006. If we need to meet them at a farther location, an additional fee will be added- .55 cents per mile to and from the 35 mile mark. The buyer will need to cover all transportation fees & forms.
Your bunny/chinchilla will be fully inspected and we will send photos/videos prior to drop off.
*Boarding fees will not apply for 2 weeks after the posted weaning/go home date. A boarding fee will apply; $5 every additional day to hold a bunny past the two week mark.*
We will send 1-2 gallons of feed depending on the time your baby(s) will be on board. Upon pickup, there should be enough feed left over for you to transition over to a new pellet.
If pedigree paperwork & breeding rights is purchased along with your bunny/chinchilla, we will send you a digital copy.

Once a payment is placed, you decide that you can not take on a bunny/chinchilla anymore (emergencies/unexpected plans) we will NOT issue a refund by any means and will put the baby up for reservation again. However, you will not lose your credit. We can move your credit to reserve another baby in the future. Your credit will only be applicable for 6 months. If you haven't inquired on another within the 6 month mark, your credit will be forfeited.
We do offer a 7 day guarantee on all of our babies. We will NEVER sell a bunny or chinchilla in which we think is sick, injured, or any possible health issues. We try our best to raise happy and healthy animals, this is our goal! If your baby becomes seriously ill or dies before the 7 day mark, we will issue a refund or first pick of the next available litter of buns/chins. This is only IF the buyer has veterinary proof of the cause leading to our care. Meaning that the bunny/chinchilla was possibly sick before leaving our barn. Bunnies & chinchillas are prey animals and are very good at hiding illnesses/injuries. If the baby dies/falls ill from a result of neglect, improper care, heat stroke, rough handling, or a fight with another rabbit/animal, we will not replace or refund your bunny/chinchilla as these situations are out of our control. MBB is not responsible in covering veterinary expenses once the bunny/chin(s) leave our care. If a bunny/chinchilla is proven sick from possible causes prior to pickup, we will take the baby back to treat by our veterinarian and issue you a refund or first pick of our next available babies.
If you adopt a bunny or chinchilla wheres the price is waived, our 7 day policy doesn't apply. We are not responsible for covering food, housing, and veterinary expenses once the bunny/chin leaves our care.
So many things can be stressful for a bunny/chinchilla. Such as the long road trip home, and you bring your excited children to hold them on the way home. Load music is played and you decide to stop to get something to eat along the way and you leave your new fur baby in the hot car. All of these things are out of our control and can cause serious damage to a bunny's/chinchilla's health. We recommend getting a closed in crate with a blanket & hay for the ride home. And leave the bunny/chinchilla ALONE for the first couple of days in its new cage so it may get used to the new environment. All of this change is very stressful for a baby bunny/chinchilla.
We will NOT issue a refund if a bunny/chinchilla gets sick after the 7 day mark. We will NOT issue a refund if three months later you find that the bunny/chinchilla is not fit for your family or they can no longer care for it. It is your job to train your new bunny/chin. Just like a cat or dog, they are a BIG responsibility! In captivity, bunnies can live up to 8-12 years and chinchillas can live up to 10-20 years! Both are definitely not a beginner pet, especially for younger children.
It is very difficult to sex a bunny/chinchilla at such a young age. We try our best to get the genders correct, but mistakes do happen. We expect our buyers to check the baby for the correct genders. We are not obligated to refund or exchange a rabbit/chin due to this error once they leave our care, but if we have one available, we will consider.
If you decide that you are no longer able to keep your bunny/chinchilla, we will take them back if we have the space to do so. MBB does not issue refunds by any means. Your credit will be forfeited if you decide on another bunny/chin at a later date. The bunny/chin will be quarantined and back up for reservations.
If the bunny/chinchilla becomes ill, passes away in our care, changes genders upon pickup, or if veterinary documentation proves a bunny is ill prior to pickup, we will issue a refund minus the 3.2% transaction fee or offer you a replacement.
