U.S. Transportation & Shipping

MBB does offer to meet with ground animal transports as well as in cabin flights accompanied by a flight nanny. Both options will need to be USDA certified and approved by MBB prior to reserving a bunny. Please contact me before booking a transportation service. All transport options must be approved by Maci's Bunny Boutique prior to reserving your bunny. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding these services.  

WARRANTY 

MBB's health guarantee will apply to my animals on transport. My 72 hour health guarantee will apply once your baby is picked up from the transport. If your baby falls ill or passes away during transport, I am happy to offer a replacement. I am not obligated to offer refunds due to this cause and am only able to replace one bunny of the same value. Your bunny will be fully inspected and I will send you photos/videos of them prior to drop off. You, the adopter, are responsible for finding and contacting the transport/shipping service. The bunny must be paid in full before I drop them off with the third party. The adopter is responsible for submitting required forms and paying the transport fees. Please send me confirmation that your transportation spot has been booked. Boarding fees will not apply within two weeks of the given weaning/go home date when holding a bunny to meet a third party. Every additional day past the two week mark that your bunny(s) stays with me, a $5 per day boarding fee will be charged. No refunds are given after the bunny leaves my care.

Ground Transportation:

Ground pet transports are a common service people use to transport their animals across the country. There are many small transportation businesses owned by certified and trusted people from all over. They pick up the bunny from the breeders location and deliver to the adopters location. They typically meet in a public area (unless discussed otherwise) where everyone has access to. You can find all the ground transport services on Facebook. Most post new cross country routes every other month. So if one doesn't work out, maybe the next one will. Most transport services require you to fill out a form of general information. Below I have listed some of my information to use on that form. A few transports require a certificate of veterinary inspection. This will be an additional cost to the rabbit. Health certificates are only valid for 30 days.

Most ground transportation services offer a crate to secure your bunny(s) during transport. If MBB needs to supply a crate for transport, and additional $45 fee will be added to cover the cost of the carrier. I am able to drop your bunny(s) off within 35 miles of Boerne TX, 78006 with no additional costs. If I need to meet them at a farther location, an extra fee will be added: $35 + .65 per mile to and from the 35 mile mark. This applies to all transports.

Below are the small animal transports that I commonly work with. Most public transportation services have new cross country routes monthly if you're unable to find a stop that works for you. If you have another transport service that you would rather use, that is not listed below, please contact me directly.

Airline In Cabin Shipping:

MBB does offer in cabin shipping with a USDA certified flight nanny. Flight nannies will fly from airport to airport to pickup and drop-off small animals to safely transport them to their new families.

The buyer is responsible for booking with the flight nanny to meet us at the San Antonio International airport for drop-off. We are only allowing domestic shipping within the U.S. The buyer is responsible for an additional $275 fee to cover the cost of an airline approved crate, absorbent padding & blanket, food & water dishes, 3 hour round trip delivery to the San Antonio airport, as well as necessary documentation needed per airports requirements. If adopting more than one bunny from the same litter, they are able to fly together in the same crate. In cabin shipping can typically cost between $600-$2,000 depending on the destination and the flight nanny you work with.
